The power plant in Högdalen is owned and operated by AB Fortum Värme samägt med Stockholms stad. Heat and electricity is produced in 6 steam boilers 270 MWth together. Boilers 1-4 and 6 are waste to energy boilers.
Boiler 3 is a WtE boiler from Martin Wehrlewerk and was put in to operation in 1986.
The Super Heater II and economizer II are original from 1986 and are worn out.
