New fuel handling system boiler 6 Högdalen
The cogeneration plant in Högdalen, Högdalenverket, is a waste to energy plant yearly burning about 750 000 tons of waste. The CFB (circulating fluidized bed) boiler P6, 91 MWth, was put into operation in 1999.
The outer fuel handling and preparation equipment for partly uncrushed (size 0,5*0,5*1m) industrial business waste will now be exchanged and modernized and the waste will be crushed into smaller and more even fractions and prepared in order to meet boiler quality requirements.
