The service of handling hazardous waste
The procurement entails the management of Hazardous Waste to the Swedish Armed Forces in northern Afghanistan during 8 months with an option for the Swedish Armed Forces to prolong the agreement for up to 12+12 months maximum. The tendering companies must be able to start the management no later than 1.2014.2014.
The mission is to manage Hazardous Waste covering the needs for approximately 350 persons but, since the number of people depends on how the situation in Afghanistan evolves and on political decisions, it is vital that the Contractor is flexible and able to adjust its management at short notice to adapt to the current number of people at the Swedish Armed Forces camps.
The total amount of Hazardous Waste for the two camps is estimated to 5-10 m3 per month. The amount of Hazardous Waste, as specified above, is only an indication of amount and no guarantee is given that this quantity will be ordered.
