ATN/VDL Mode 2 Datalink Network Services

Luftfartsverket

Provision and implementation of VDL Mode2/ATN connectivity between aircraft and LFVs Air Traffic Management (ATM) system within specified area in Sweden to facilitate Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) for the purposes of compliance with the Implementing Rule on Data Link Services issued by the European Commissions Single Sky Committee (regulation EC 29/2009).
The provision shall include radio equipment required for the implementation.
The service shall be available for the aircraft operator customers of ARINC and SITA.
The chosen geographic area may be extended from the minimum required in the regulation.
Each network shall provide direct or indirect interface to LFVs ATM system.
The procurement may consist of deliveries of one or several providers.
