Upphandlingen avser inköp av fem (5) stycken elektroniskt bildförstärkta kameror. Slutartiden för kamerorna ska vara på nanosekundsskalan och enheterna ska synkroniseras med pulsade lasrar. Tre av kamerorna ska vara känsliga för uv-ljus, en kamera för synligt ljus och den femte kameran ska vara känslig för infrarött ljus.
Med hjälp av kamerorna ska förbrännings- och plasma-processer studeras. De olika kamerorna ska studera laserinducerade signaler i ett flertal forskningsprojekt.
