Control System for Boiler 6 in Högdalen
Background
This plant was built in 1999 and consists of 3 different parts, Fuel, Boiler and Flue gas cleaning.
Fuel:
· The entrance of the fuel is a singular entry into 2 redundant storage silos. From these storage silos the fuel goes down to a singular conveyor into 3 different Day Silos. From these Silos the fuel is transported into the Boiler, on one conveyor for each silo.
Boiler:
· In the boiler there are 6 burners, 4 ignition burners and 2 EU-burners. The system also consists of Primary and Secondary fans and also there 3 high pressure fans. The feed water is built with two pumps where at least one of these two pumps has to be in use, to be able to run the Boiler. None of these systems are redundant.
Flue gas cleaning:
· Flue gas cleaning was delivered with a NID-solution, thats never been in use. The NID-solution should be upgraded, rebuild and commissioned in this project. Parts of the Flue gas cleaning are redundant.
