Live Fire Target System 2010

FMV will procure a technical refresh of the Live Fire Target System 2010. The aim of the upgrade is to replace the control unit with new software and hardware, and to add new functionality because of changed training objectives including adding Close combat equipment and adding more accurate Hit position indicators.Live Fire Target System 2010 (in short form referred to as Target System 2010) is used for combat training with live-firing ammunition by the Swedish Armed Forces. The basic capability of Target System 2010 is to provide live-fire areas and shooting ranges with remote-controlled, multi-purpose targets, either moveable or stationary, which may be equipped with various accessories, such as infantry silhouettes, tank silhouettes, ballistic radar detector and special effects systems. The OCD describes the whole upgraded system, but this procurement will not cover the new sub-system.
