Fortum Värme owns and run a number of large and small district heating and distribution plants in Stockholm, Sweden.
Fortum Värme has a very ambitious plan to upgrade many of its automation systems in the coming years. The scope of this plan being around 40 projects amounting roughly MSEK 180 in contract value. The majority of this contracts relates to automation system for production plants such as heat water boilers, combined heat and power plants (CHP) and, power plants.
In order to succeed with this plan Fortum aims to sign a number of framework agreements.
The automation contracts comprise turn-key delivery including programming, configuration, testing, commissioning and documentation according to the Buyers function description. Many of this automation contract are going to comprise the supply of a automation system, security system, cabinets, montage and installation. In some cases even exchange of parts or the hole instrumentation, some electrical equipment and new cabling may be included in the scope of the works.
The automation contracts are divided into 2 categories, large and small projects. Large projects comprise all contracts with an estimated value over 10 MSEK whereas small projects comprise contracts with an estimated value up to 10 MSEK.
Fortum Generation AB owns and run about 120 Hydro Power Plants in Sweden. The automation scope is roughly estimated to cover 10-15 MSEK annually
