REACH obligations to provide information on SVHCs in articles

Kemikalieinspektionen

REACH requires producers/importers/suppliers of articles to provide information on SVHC contents to ECHA (Art. 7.2), and to recipients and consumers (Art. 33).
The Swedish Chemicals Agency now welcomes tenders on how to draft further guidance on the implementation of these obligations with focus on 1) how to apply the 0.1 % information trigger limit on complex articles, going out from the “Once an article, always an article” principle supported by a number of countries who disagree with the interpretation of the limit made in a guidance published by ECHA.
2) how companies can gather the information needed to be able to provide information, what information to provide, and how to transmit/present the information; and The draft guidance from this project is primarily intended to constitute a basis for publication of further guidance by the mentioned countries.
Details are described in this call for tenders which should not amount to more than approximately 400 000 DKK (54 000 EUR).
