In 2004-2006 Malmö Opera and Music Theatre underwent a complete renovation/new installments of the technical stage systems including control system. The control and monitoring system is now to be exchanged while the motors and mechanical installations are to be mostly retained. The mechanical system comprises of 150 motors for flying, firedoors, point hoists for light and sound and a revolving stage.
