Scope:
The procurement covers analysis of samples according to FELASA's recommendations for health monitoring for mice and rat for Lund University. We test our animal facilities 4 times annually by carrying out 3 quarterly and 1 annual FELASA per year. Every year we test about 480 samples for serology, 320 faecal samples, 320 fur samples, and 320 oral samples for mice. For rats, we take 20 samples for serology, 20 faecal samples, 20 fur samples, and 20 oral samples. We collect the test materials ourselves.
