Low-Speed Aerial Target Traning Services
This procurement comprises a complete solution for Low-Speed Aerial Target Training Services (ATTS) for Surface-To-Air (STA) and Air-To-Air (ATA) military training. A complete solution for ATTS includes, but not limited to, planning and coordination of ATTS operations, training and education, aircrafts, pilots, target towing equipment such as winches and towing cables, targets (sleeves), Miss Distance Indicator (MDI) systems, scoring stations and spares so no shortage occur during an ATTS operation. The procurement of Low-Speed Aerial Target Training Services (ATTS) is divided into three (3) capabilities: Clean aircraft presentation Clean aircraft presentation, all so known as target display, is an aircraft which fly in a clean configuration simulating attacks on ground and sea targets which have to be repelled by the air defence. Clean aircrafts may be equipped with mirror reflectors/prisms which allows registration of infra-red lights simulating hits. These hits are preferable recorded during the flight via a display on the ground as well as in the cockpit. Target towing Target towing is an aircraft capable of which tows various targets (sleeve and hard) and sizes with a target reeling machine carried as a pod or winch installed internally in the aircraft allowing live-firing practice with various calibers for Surface-To-Air defence. The winch or the target reeling machine is equipped with a towing cable in various length. A MDI-system is used in order to allow registration of near hits with different distances from the target. These near hits are recorded via a display in cockpit, and preferable on a ground unit, for live-result interpretation allowing instance feedback to the military unit.
