The scope of the procurement includes an IT workplace including management of computers with specialised services, an IT Service Desk, and Infrastructure and Server operations. One contract will encompass all the areas since the services are closely connected to each other with dependencies. The request for stable production for high flight safety further justifies the merger of the areas in one contract.
Swedavia strives to optimise and develop its IT workplace, including computers, in the operational process and actively continue the drive towards digitalisation. The new contract now being purchased covers an important part of that work. The services include (but are not limited to):
• The complete lifecycle of workplace/PC management/printers including image management, provisioning, maintenance and life cycle management of hardware and software.
• Workplace analytics
• Application packaging and distribution
• Collaboration services (e-mail, chat, file storage, Teams)
• Management of Office 365
• Print services
The IT Service Desk shall serve as a single point of contact for incidents, requests and inquiries for users in Swedavia’s organisation and our partners and customers. This includes office users, flight operational staff/systems and critical incident management. It shall deliver a cohesive service for all IT-related cases (incidents, requests and inquiries) and be responsible for efficient handling of incidents.
The Infrastructure and Server operations covers Swedavia's needs for the management of servers including monitoring and ensuring the functionality and availability of applications. The area includes (but are not limited to):
• infrastructure as a service with both on-premise and cloud operations handling
• storage
• IT security
• system operation
• Directory Services
• Functionality for Identity and Access Management
For security reasons, the IT Service Desk and data centers for on-premise must be geographically located and staffed in Sweden.
