The Bunker project carries the task of shielding the main source of radiation (target systems, monolith as well as first several meters of instruments hardware and beam guides). In addition to manufacturing, assembly of subsystems and delivery of finished blocks to the ESS site; the contract will include provisions for appropriate design input from the supplier to ensure most cost-effective solutions.
