Ny överhettare Panna 4 i Högdalen
The plant in Högdalen is owned and operated by AB Fortum Värme samägt med Stockholms stad. Heat and electricity is mainly produced by combustion of domestic and industrial waste in five steam boilers of 270 MWth together.
Boiler P4 (81,7 MWth, 9,4 kg/s, 35 bar(g), 400 °C), a grate boiler municipal solid waste was put into operation in 2005. The superheater (SH1, SH2 and SH3) will be changed during revision in summer 2018. The evaporator in front of the superheaters will possibly also be changed depending on its condition.
