New fly ash transportation system for boiler 6 in Högdalen
AB Fortum Värme samägt med Stockholms stad
The cogeneration plant in Högdalen, Högdalenverket, is a waste to energy plant yearly burning about 750 000 tons of waste. The CFB (circulating fluidized bed) boiler P6, 91 MWth, was put into operation in 1999.
The flue gases from the boiler are cleaned by a dry and wet flue gas cleaning process. The plant was delivered by Alstom and the boiler with flue gas cleaning was put into operation in 1999.
Fly ash from the boiler is today transported with three parallel pneumatic transportation systems to the fly ash silo for boiler 6; 1 from economiser bottom (built in 2014) and 2 parallel lines from the fabric filter. There are also 2 parallel NID-reactors (NID=Novel Integrated Desulfurization) before the fabric filter with 2 ash senders connected to the pneumatic pipe system from the fabric filter. The NID system is not in operation at present and will not be included in the scope of supply with except for blocked pipe connections to NID-system.
