Laser Writer
A direct laser (LED) writer system, where a light beam is focussed on the sample surface where an optical resist has been applied. The light beam is moved across the surface with high precision in order to expose a predefined pattern in the resist. The system can be seen as a very flexible replacement for an optical lithography system, without the need for pre-fabricated masks, thereby making changes to the exposed pattern very easy.
