Intercom system
At Radiohuset in Stockholm, circa 40 studios along with the Master control room will be supplied with intercom panels to enable fast and easy-to-use point-to-point intercom. Studio personnel will be able to communicate easily with colleagues in other studios, as well as with the Master Control Room (MCR) operators.
The intercom system will provide voice communication between all panels (software or hardware) connected to the system. The intercom system communication will be IP based, and all studio panels will be connected to the office VLAN.
To initiate voice communication between intercom panels no more than the push on one call key will be required by the end-user. The delay — from when a user pushes the call key on the intercom panel to when the sound goes through to the recipient (panel) — will be minimal making communication fast and easy.
