BBMRI.se, (BioBanking and Molecular Resources Infrastructure of Sweden) strives to build a national infrastructure of biobank samples from patients and healthy volunteers in a joint effort with biobank organizations at Swedish University Hospitals. The plan is now to establish similar national Biobank services at clinical microbiology laboratories and support processing and storage of samples collected for different diseases.
