Flow cytometer
The department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell biology (MTC) is one of the largest departments of the Karolinska Institutet. The focus of the department is basic research within areas including infection biology, immunology and tumor biology. The departments Core Facility for FACS (Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting) has been in operation since 1994 and serves customers from around 60 research laboratories at Karolinska Institutet as well as other universities and institutions in the Stockholm area.
