Servohydraulic Axial Torsion test rig

The department Materials and Manufacturing Technology intends to buy a new servohydraulic test rig with capabilities for bi-axial testing, using two separately controlled axis: tension-compression and torsion. The so-called axial-torsion (AT) test rig must be supplied with suitable software and controller to control the rig, record and save data with good accuracy and resolution. The hydraulic pump must supply oil for this machine and two other test rigs (Instron frames with MTS controllers). Also an ambient temperature extensometer and an induction heating system with a high temperature (HT) extensometer option are to be offered.
