NCCMS for the RSwN

FMV

Försvarets Materielverk (FMV, the Swedish Defence Material Administration) is procuring a new system-family of Naval Compact Combat Management Systems (NCCMS) for the Royal Swedish Navy (RSwN). The NCCMS are to be installed on three different RSwN ship types. In all a total of seven (7) systems are to be initially procured.
The RSwN more capable vessels has a diversity of integrated Combat Management Systems (CMS) such as; CETRIS (on the Visby and Stockholm -classes of corvettes), IMCMS (on the Koster-class mine-hunters) and SESUB (on the submarines).
There exists a need for a somewhat simplified CMS system to be installed on the less capable vessels in the RSwN in order to enable them to share tactical information with the rest of the RSwN. A new family of Naval Compact CMS (NCCMS) is going to fulfill those needs.
