Upphandling av mynt för Sveriges riksbank
The assignment the Riksbank is now procuring includes the following:
- manufacture of Swedish circulation coins in accordance with the description in appendix 2 including manufacturing the tools needed to mint these coins (the Riksbank supplies the master tools for existing coins as well as for the 2016 coins)
- transport of the circulation coins to one or two locations in Sweden (the number of locations and their location may have to change during the term of the contract)
- minting of any new circulation coins (new denominations, changed metal composition, different coin-age)
- design, manufacture, marketing, sales and distribution of commemorative coins
- option regarding destruction of worn and invalid circulation coins and of commemorative coins. The option does not include destruction in conjunction with the replacement of coins that will take place during 2016/17.
