The contract should give AP3 access to external expertise regarding operational due diligence on hedge fund managers. The applicant should have well documented experience and competence in the hedge fund space given that hedge funds can be particularly complex in their operational structure. It is therefore required that hedge funds are the applicant’s main area of expertise. AP3 should have the possibility to actively participate in the due diligence process together with the external part that will be selected at the end of the tender process.

Behörighet att utöva yrkesverksamheten:
The applicant should assure a high degree of independence. AP3 will be able to participate in on-site due diligence on managers. The applicant should have excellent knowledge on both operational as well as investment due diligence processes. The applicant should be registered with the SEC, FSA, or other comparable regulatory authority. The applicant should not have any broker dealer affiliation. The applicant should not have any seeding activity within the hedge fund industry. The applicant should have at least two years' experience of conducting operational due diligence on hedge fund managers.
