Procurement of a stationary system to measure oxygen uptake
The procurement is for a full, stationary system to measure oxygen uptake (VO2), complete with equipment for assessment of resting metabolism with ventilated hood. The equipment will also be used to measure heart rate with the possibility for analysis of heart rate variability.
The equipment will be used in undergraduate and postgraduate education as well as in research in sports physiology/medicine. It will also be used for external operations, for example fitness testing of athletes (both professional and amateurs).
