2PM: performance monitoring & predictive maintenance 2
To produce power as efficiently as possible, Vattenfall Business Unit Production Thermal Benelux will start a project redefining procedures, organizational structure and tooling, initially at its Utrecht plant. Part of this project is the selection and implementation of software in which, among other things, extensive “what-if” analysis can be performed. The selected product will also be used by the Business unit Asset Improvement and Optimization.
The product will first be installed at MK12, one of the CCGT plants within the Local Asset Group Utrecht, the Netherlands. Many plants in our portfolio are CHP plants. Therefore, the influence of city heating on performance has to be accounted for in the to be acquired software product.
