Stockholm University’s newly established PetroTectonics Center emphasizes cross-disciplinary research initiatives in hard rock geology and tectonics, such as fluid-rock interactions, rock mechanics, orogen dynamics, etc. In 2009 the Centre was successful obtaining funds to improve the PetroTectonic Center’s infrastructure.
