KTH intends to purchase a supercomputer system and invites suppliers who wish to participate in the negotiated procurement procedure for the supply of one supercomputer system to submit a request to participate in accordance with this call for competition.
The procured system will be a supercomputer system for general scientific usage. It will execute wide (i.e. highly parallel) jobs as well as jobs using only one or a smaller number of nodes in an efficient way.

2014-05-15Supercomputer system (Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan)
The purpose of this procurement is to make a Tier-1 supercomputer system available at KTH as part of the SNIC infrastructure as well as a Tier-1 resource in the European Prace project in 2015. The capacity of the system is expected to exceed 1PFlop/s. The system also comprises a fast parallel file system (ideally with HSM functionality) and pre- and post-processing facilities. The main system, pre- and post-processing system and storage system are divided into 3 separate lots.
