CATS Sample Changer Upgrade
BioMAX will be equipped with an Arinax MD3 diffractometer with a vertical goniometer axis.
At the MAX II ring, the I911-3 beamline is currently equipped with a CATS Sample Changer from IRELEC with a storage dewar having a capacity of 90 SPINE sample holders and vials.
This system will be transferred to BioMAX at MAX IV. For this purpose, a major upgrade introducing a series of improvements and adaptations is needed.
