A/c Dry Air Equipment for Reconnaissance Pod SPK39
This procurement concerns Air conditioning & Dry air equipment (A/c- dry air unit) for Reconnaissance Pod 39 to A/C JAS39 Gripen.
The main purpose of the A/c- dry air unit is to provide climate control for an airborne reconnaissance pod between missions, i.e. on ground. The A/c-dry air unit shall provide a stable air-conditioned dry airflow.
The pod contains imaging sensors that need a controlled environment on the ground in order to optimize the operational performance in the air.
The operational scenarios for the A/c- dry air unit include supplying air to:
— a pod mounted on an aircraft;
— a container holding the pod.
The A/c- dry air unit is intended to be used primarily outdoors and thus encountering a wide range of weather conditions.
