Sjunde AP-Fonden
Sjunde AP-Fonden (AP7) is reviewing its arrangements for global custody and related services. Global custody will include settlement and safekeeping/custody of securities plus asset servicing and taxation support. The related services will include CLS-facilities, collateral management and may also include other services such as fund valuation, securities lending and support for private equity. AP7 is looking to appoint one global custodian to handle the custody and realted services through proprietary or subcustodian network.
As at the end of October, AP7's assets amounted to approximately 120 billion SEK . This figure is expected to grow to 300 billion SEK by 2025. AP7 manages 2 mutual funds, 1 global equity fund and 1 fixed income fund. The (small) Swedish fixed income fund is managed internally and the equity fund (~92 % of all assets) is predominantly externally managed. The global equity fund tracks the MSCI All Countries World Standard Index which includes 24 developed markets and 20 emerging markets.
AP7 is looking for an applicant that can offer the requested services with a high degree of straight through processing, high service quality, a great degree of flexibility/creativity in response to new solutions and a competitive pricing.

“- An A/A1 and/or A rating with credit support by Standard & Poors and/or Moody's and/or IBCA.”
“- Global custody coverage through proprietary or sub-custodian networks including all markets included in the MSCI All country World Index.”
“- Protect AP7 against any potential loss of securities in the event a sub-custodian becomes insolvent, acts negligently or committs fraud.”
“- An European based operations centre.”
“The applicant should also be able to:”
“- operate the hours when the MSCi All Country World Index markets,”
“- offer AP7 on-line electronic acess to its custody system and related services,”
“- accept instructions directly from AP7 external managers aswell as from AP7.”
“NONE of the issues raised in Article 29 (a)-(g) of Directive 92/50/EEC MUST APPLY to the applicant.”
“Information regarding corporate structure and ownership:”
