Isotope sensitive MS on-line gas analyzer

The system shall be placed at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering at LTU. The system will primarily be used for analysis of mixtures of hydrogen and deuterium since we have initiated a project on isotope separation by zeolite membranes. Furthermore, membrane separation of H2O and D2O will also be performed and the system will also be used for analysis of such mixtures. Secondary, gases such as CO, CO2, CH4 and NOx among others will be also evaluated with the system. The system must be a Mass Spectrometer, which quantitatively analyzes gas samples on-line. General requirements on the system are given in this section (section 1). Specific requirements are given in sections 2-4 below.
