Procurement of Framework Agreement Multimodal transports

FMV has the assignment on behalf of Swedish Armed Forces to procure a Framework Agreement Multimodal transport services on national and international basis. Multimodal transports in the context of this Procurement are at least transports of full containers, motor vehicles, or corresponding size of equipment/goods or equivalent.
Internationally the needs for Swedish Armed Forces are military transports where today's and forthcoming needs are future missions and assignments, such as e.g. Swedish missions in Afghanistan or Swedish missions in Mali.
The procurement comprises logistic solutions for transportation of military and civilian cargo. Primarily will the Multimodal transportations be made to and from countries affected by war, conflict or disaster areas. This means transport solutions over multiple modalities such as sea, road, rail and air.
Participating authorities in this procurement are SAF, FMV, MSB and UD. None of the participating authorities does guarantee any quantities.
Transports may include dangerous goods and weapons. The need for transport may occur suddenly as a result of government decision implying that transportation is to be performed at short notice.
