Model extension for the tool to appraise and compare vector control strategies against West Nile fever in Europe
The objective of the contract is to extend the development of the model and desktop application of the tool in order to:
1. include birds in the transmission cycle of WNF;
2. extend the spatial coverage of the outputs by including the interaction of connected functioning units (and by this, allowing the model to work at different geographical scales);
3. enable the use of remote sensing data to feed the model.
