Systematic literature review on interventions for tuberculosis prevention and control in hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations
The objective of this contract is to perform a systematic literature review on interventions and service models for TB prevention and control in hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations, following international standards such as Cochrane and Prisma. The contractors should perform a systematic review of peer-reviewed and grey literature in order to collect, collate, critically appraise, analyse and report relevant research on interventions and service models for the following target populations: homeless people, people with drug or alcohol addiction, sex-workers, prisoners or people with a history of imprisonment, and vulnerable migrant populations, including Roma populations. The systematic review shall build on the already performed systematic reviews conducted for the development of the NICE guidance PH37 'Identifying and managing tuberculosis among hard-to-reach groups'. The scope shall be broadened to cover all EU/EEA Member States and it shall be updated to cover the most recent evidence and provide qualitative descriptions of the interventions and service models.
