Accounting for the epidemiological trends of HIV among migrant populations in the EU/EEA
To provide:
i) an in-depth analysis of and possible hypothesis for the observed declines in the numbers of new reported HIV diagnoses in migrants from sub-Saharan Africa in the EU/EEA from 2004 to 2013; and
ii) an analysis and description for the changing trends of new HIV diagnoses in a) migrant MSM from Latin America and the Caribbean, and b) the sustained increases in the number of heterosexuals and IDUs from central and eastern Europe in the EU/EEA from 2007 to 2013.
