Validation and evaluation of the risk assessment tool for contamination of blood donations during outbreaks of infectious diseases (Eufrat)
The objectives of this contract are to:
provide a validation of the Eufrat tool with the aim to consolidate and improve the tool regarding validity of the estimates calculated, relevance of results and diseases included, user-friendliness, and to introduce eventual revisions;
evaluate the tool performances and function in practice during the 8-month pilot phase, to assess the benefit of the tool for the users in outbreak situations and to propose eventual revisions.
