Development of EU directory of cross-border laboratory cooperation services (EU_CLCS)

ECDC will develop an EU directory of cross-border laboratory cooperation services (EU_CLCS) to assist the respective authorities in the EU Member States in gaining rapid access to state-of-the-art expertise and advanced laboratory testing not available at national level but needed for detection and characterisation of epidemic-prone pathogens and/or those of rare or new pathotypes which pose threats to the health of Europe's population. This invitation to tender is part of the development of such a directory. It will involve a kick-off meeting to organise the project implementation, a needs analysis, development of detailed directory specifications, and a final report describing the key practical issues and areas for development for implementation of an operational cross-border laboratory services directory in the EU.
