Technical contribution to the development of evidence-based guidance for tuberculosis control
The ECDC is currently developing 2 guidance documents following ECDC procedures for evidence-based guidance to EU/EEA Member States. The first guidance documents will be on the management of contact to M/XDR-TB cases, and the second on the use of molecular methods for the rapid diagnosis of tuberculosis and drug-resistance. The aim of the current contract is to provide the TB programme team with support in the last stages of content development and finalisation of the mentioned guidance documents (content contribution and editing of the draft documents), as well as to provide rapporteur support at the 2 ad hoc scientific panel meetings being held for each of the documents.
