Real-time excess mortality monitoring in the EU/EEA region

To produce a report for ECDC exploring all-causes mortality patterns in EU/EEA countries between September 2011 and January 2012. This is to contribute to using the real-time excess mortality monitoring platform to operate coordinated mortality monitoring across (as many as possible) European countries in order to improve the ECDC's capacity to assess and help manage risks associated with major health threats, including pandemic influenza and other infectious or non-infectious public health events with a severe impact.
