Hospital software support for the surveillance of healthcare-associated infections
The objectives of the contract are:
— to further develop and improve the
HELICSwin.Net standalone software for the ECDC point prevalence survey (PPS) of HAI and antimicrobial use in acute care hospitals,
— to further develop and improve the HELICSwin MS Access application for the ECDC surveillance of ICU-acquired infections and surgical site infections,
— to provide technical support (helpdesk) to EU Member States, EEA/EFTA countries, candidate countries and potential candidate countries with regard to IT technical issues arising during the installation or use of the software.
