European network of laboratories for diagnosis assistance and support for emerging and vector-borne diseases
To fulfil its mandate of providing outbreak support, in particular related to laboratory diagnostics, ECDC seeks to establish a collaborative network of European laboratories that could be mobilised to provide such assistance. This may include 'remote' assistance, providing advice, support and surge capacity and/or mobilisation of experts in the field with or without laboratory equipment.
