Estimating cost-effectiveness for screening strategies for hepatitis B, C and HIV infection in different populations in Europe
This project requests a contractor to perform a review of cost-effectiveness of testing strategies for hepatitis B, C and HIV, as well as to produce a review of existing models to estimate the cost-effectiveness of testing strategies and to recommend the model(s) which are most appropriate for different epidemiological scenarios within the EU/EEA. The project also includes developing and pilot testing a tool to assist Member States to perform cost-effectiveness studies and to, then, create a tutorial and train Member States on the use of the tool.
